CONNECTEDBoston provides confidential HIV & STI testing and counseling, at no cost to you. We use 4th generation testing, and work to link you to treatment and support services as needed.
A Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) is an infection that is passed from person to person through unprotected sexual contact such as condomless vaginal, anal, and oral sex. Most STIs are transmitted through the exchange of sexual fluids, but some can be passed through skin-to-skin contact.
PrEP & PEP
Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis, or PrEP, is a pill you take once a day, everyday, to prevent HIV infection. When taken as prescribed, it greatly reduces your chances of being infected with HIV, especially when used with other prevention methods such as condoms. Find out if PrEP is right for you.
Due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, CONNECTEDBoston is currently not hosting in-person events or support groups. We are working to create safe spaces for Queer people to meet virtually, and will be launching a Trans Latina Support Group in conjunction with the Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program on May 12, 2021! Contact us if you would like to join this group, and be sure to follow our social media pages for updates on other virtual groups.
Our MEN'S Groups address the dynamic of being a black, gay/bi/queer man in society.
